Abby Newman is once again in the public eye, but not due to her powerful or famous family. Instead, Abby is under heat for the controversy she’s sparked with her recent behavior. Abby has been in trouble before, but the current drama has done serious damage to her standing in the public eye. Viewers of the show are waiting with bated breath to see how Abby handles the ongoing turmoil.
Abby recently found herself in an embarrassing situation when she ran across Amanda Sinclair. Amanda did not waste any time in reminding Abby of the deception she committed when she slept with Devon Hamilton. It is difficult to conceive of a circumstance that could have been more uncomfortable, yet from that point on, things only grew worse.

Abby has a track record of engaging in questionable activity. She’s put forth a lot of effort over the years to get her dad’s attention, but it appears like it’s just gotten her into more problems. Despite all of the attention she’s received, Abby hasn’t had much success in the love department. Abby was left sad and all by herself after her relationships with both Arturo Rosales and Stitch Rayburn both came to an unhappy end.
But, Abby’s most recent relationship with Chance Chancellor seemed to be headed in the right direction until she sabotaged it all by having an affair with Devon. It is unfortunate that she had to pursue her present relationship at the expense of Chance’s feelings, but it seems that Abby is unable to control herself in this regard.
The fact that Abby has not changed her conduct and continues to have sexual relations with Devon has infuriated a number of individuals, including Nina. Abby’s background makes her a prime target and criticism, but whether or not she deserves it is up for debate.
There is a lot of drama and heartbreak in Abby’s storyline. You can’t help but be intrigued by what may possibly happen next. Will Abby finally find the one person who can truly fulfill her needs, or will she continue to self-sabotage and create chaos wherever she goes?
Abby is not someone who shrinks away from danger, even if doing so means she must face the repercussions of her actions. Like her or not, Abby is a major player on The Young and the Restless.
