Abe Carver is rescued. He is found alive and his kidnapper faces criminal charges. Abe has been missing for weeks. Finally, he is rescued. Abe has amnesia and Nurse Whitley took advantage of him. She took him from the hospital after Abe mistook her for his wife.
The nurse then took him to her apartment. Also, she hired an actor named Jerry to portray the role of his son, Theo Carver. Abe started gaining memory when he was watching the recorded tape. The nurse spread the news of Abe’s death.

Abe’s family and friends mourn the death of him. Paulina even prepared for his memorial. Steve and John thought that something wasn’t right. They keep searching for Abe here and there. Lani discovers her father is alive.
Jerry told her that Abe was in Whitley’s captive. She went to rescue her father, but the nurse drugged her too. Later, John and Steve learn about Abe’s predicament. Next week, Abe is free from the kidnapper. Whitley faces charges for her actions.
Li Shin has a date with Melinda Trask. The district attorney wants nothing from the criminal. Li Shin is single and needs someone in his life. The two go on a date. Later, Melinda meets Sloan Petersen. The ladies sit and talk about their personal life.
Rafe and Jada have been dating each other for some time. Rafe tells Jada that he wants to go public with their relationship. Rafe is fired by the deputy mayor for dating his co-worker. Rafe doesn’t care what other thinks about their relationship.
He wants to be with Jada for the rest of his life. He wants to make it official. Will their family and friends accept them? The week of July 24 is full of dramatic scenes and actions.
