Things are heating up in Genoa City. In a complicated turn of events, Adam Newman is about to become a parent again. Sally Spectra, who has been warming up to Adam, is cautioning him not to put too much stock in their developing friendship.
Meanwhile, Audra Charles and Tucker McCall have a tangled past, since she used his money to finance her education and now works for him. But that’s not all; a blossoming relationship is developing between them.
Sally, on the other hand, isn’t sitting around doing anything while Adam mulls over his feelings for her. She’s not seeing anybody right now; instead, she’s living with Nick Newman and apparently embroiled in a love triangle. And that’s not all: Nate Hastings, who says he loves Elena Dawson, has been secretly seeing Victoria Newman. This is a certain way to get someone in hot water.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman is making attempts to buy McCall Unlimited, which might pit him against Ashley Abbott. Adam is putting his father under pressure to fulfill a promise, but Ashley’s participation might throw a kink in the works. In spite of this, Victor and Audra would be the most formidable forces in the world if he were successful in winning Adam over to his side.
Still, since Tucker seems to be losing control, Audra might start to like Adam, who fits the bill. We can only speculate how fast Adam may understand the significance of Audra’s insights. Who could blame Adam for wanting to get to know the lovely and brilliant Audra on a romantic level?
But Tucker won’t cooperate with Adam if Victor acquires ownership of the business via an arrangement with Ashley. Things are becoming more complicated. Would Ashley and Victor be amenable to forming some type of working relationship? While this is a possibility, Audra’s assistance would be highly sought after by both camps.
The fact that Adam and Sally are expecting a child together, in the midst of all of this business drama and love entanglements, means that they will be bonded for the rest of their lives. But considering their troubled history, is it really possible for them to make this relationship work? And for Nate and Elena, what will their future hold? Will Victoria finally tell everyone about the connection she’s been keeping secret? As always, only time will tell.
There is one thing that is certain, and that is the fact that Audra is a clever manipulator who has a fascinating personality, and she is certain to create waves regardless of whose side she is on.
