In the coming week, Carly is going to make a huge discovery, so maybe she will eventually realize that Nina is the one who reported her to the SEC.
It’s odd that Carly still doesn’t know about this because normally she is never afraid to point the finger at Nina if something goes wrong. Thus, it is strange that she hasn’t yet accused her of anything.
In any case, Carly has a lot on her plate right now, mainly because of Michael and Willow’s new decisions. Currently, Carly is hooked on the fact that Ned is the one who tipped off the SEC because she seems preoccupied with all the drama surrounding her.
She wouldn’t have been stuck in this mess today if Nina had simply stayed quiet about the insider trading secret. Of course, Martin assured Nina before that it would remain a secret, and he will assure her again soon.
She could have been saved from being suspected, but she decided to take things to the next level, so there might be no turning back for her. Now she’s grilling Olivia on the topic and wants to know everything.
Moreover, she is also trying to influence Olivia with her opinion. Nina will hint at the prospect that Drew and Carly might betray one another in court.
