We all know a dashing and attractive cop and a secret agent who can’t seem to catch a break right? Yes, I’m talking about Chance Chancellor. Despite being that good-looking, the universe is not really giving him the pretty privilege of having a decent, hassle-free life.
Sure, he’s cute with those dimples, but come on, Chance, get it together. We know you can do better than this. But then again, Phyllis Summers and Jeremy Stark have actually set up the scene pretty well,
They managed to make everyone believe that whatever happened was not fishy at all and that Phyllis is not only dead, but Diane Jenkins might have something to do with it. Well not everyone, but you get it.

According to Y&R spoilers, Chance is about to get played by Phyllis and Jeremy again. It seems he will follow the fake evidence like a lost puppy. I mean, we can’t blame him entirely, right, He’s Just a good, honest man who expects everyone else to be good and honest, too. But let’s be real, in the soap world, that’s just not how things work.
But maybe Chance has something up his sleeve. Perhaps Chance learned his lesson after the whole debacle with the Newmans and Ashland’s death. Then again, this is the same guy who arrested Diane on flimsy evidence. I mean, come on, Chance, even we could see that was a mistake and a setup. The poor man was just doing his job anyway.
But hey, maybe it was all just a ploy to smoke out the real culprit. One can only hope. Summer Neman is literally eating his brains out, maybe all Chance wants to do is close this case and move on. So perhaps he will buy the setup again and put Diane in jail once and for all.
But we’re all aware that he is capable of making the right judgment. Chance is not stupid, he’s been fooled already, and he may not give in to it anymore. Who knows while we roast his professional abilities, he’s trying to out together a great plan to get the real culprit in handcuffs.
