Jeremy Stark devised a complex plan with multiple steps to implicate Mrs. Jenkins in Phyllis’ murder. That’s why it was certain to encounter some major challenges, which may have revealed him. Jeremy believes he has closed this loophole by providing the ambulance driver with a new identity and sending him on his way to better things. It was said that the driver had no real ties to Genoa City and was happy to start over with a sizable sum of money.
Problems have arisen for Jeremy as a result of Phyllis’s reluctance to commit to the false death and the permanent separation from her children. She plans to attend her memorial events, so it will be challenging for Jeremy to keep her in check.
Also, if things heat up, EMT Carson may easily break down and tell all. Jeremy still has a single unresolved query. Carson took the last of his money and vowed to stick to the original story he told the police. After noticing Carson’s uneasy behavior, Phyllis began to have doubts about his reliability. Carson took the money, but he would have preferred not to be involved.

Furthermore, Jeremy has placed the poison bottle used in Phyllis’s murder case in Diane’s apartment, which could fall into Chance’s hands at a later time. There is potentially compelling proof that Diane poisoned Phyllis during their earlier argument.
Jeremy will stop at nothing to make sure the evidence points toward Diane. However, Chane may view such twists of fate as mere coincidence and suspect covert manipulation. Therefore, Jeremy may begin to worry that his scheme would fail, most notably due to the existence of a loophole known as “EMT Carson.”
Even if Jeremy is successful in keeping Phyllis under control, Carson may confess under the pressure of the police’s harsh interrogation and the prospect of jail time. Carson may feel forced to reveal the entire horrific story, including how he facilitated the integration of the poisoned blood sample into the investigation.
Major tensions could emerge if Carson attempted to secure immunity in exchange for disclosing the truth about Jeremy and Phyllis’s plot. And so, there is a possibility that Jeremy will kill Carson to maintain order, but this could lead to his being interrogated by the police. In any event, Jeremy will run into major obstacles with his strategy, and he may come to regret teaming up with such a nervous guy as the situation gradually swings against him.
