Summer Newman has updated Daniel on Phyllis’s condition and has insisted that this information be kept secret. However, Daniel isn’t pleased with Summer fooling her husband, Kyle and criticizes her for keeping such crucial facts hidden. Now the question is whether she’ll follow his brother’s recommendation and tell Kyle.
It would appear that Kyle and Jack are working overtime to clear Diane Jenkins. If Summer were to accept that her mother is well and living, the situation would immediately resolve itself. Summer, on the other hand, is determined to keep this secret hidden, regardless of what her mother has done.
In the meantime, Daniel is anxious for Phyllis to return home, so he plans to be forthright about their position. But Summer is concerned that her mom will eventually go to jail. Here, Daniel assumes that all Phyllis has to do is tell what happened to cleanse her name. Diane has been locked up by Phyllis and Jeremy, and someone needs to free her.

Indeed, Diane has done many terrible things in the past, but she is not a murderer. Even though Phyllis may have felt unsafe with Diane, Diane never actually harmed her in any way. As an alternative, Jeremy and Phyllis gathered enough evidence to put their shared enemy behind bars for good.
But if the crime never took place, there’s no way to be guilty of it. To avoid any dire consequences, Daniel requested that the whole incident be made public.
Elsewhere, Diane has shared the truth about what happened. to Michael Baldwin. Diane’s explanation didn’t make any sense, so nobody would believe her. Kyle and Jack will not stop working until Diane’s name is cleared and she is released. So why can’t Summer just take charge and make things simple? Is Summer sure she needs Diane to go through that?
A gap has opened up between Summer and Kyle, and it appears to be widening by the day. Now that Summer knows the truth about her mother’s survival, she can put a stop to Kyle’s trouble once and for all. However, she is acting in opposition to that, which demonstrates indifference to her husband’s pain and suffering. And when will Summer tell everyone that Phyllis is still alive?
Kyle will be hurt if Summer chooses her mother over him. He admittedly held a grudge against Phyllis for quite some time. Also, Daniel thinks it’s better to be clean and have her actions criticized than to keep them hidden.
