Days Of Our Lives Recap: Sloan Petersen Is Greeted By Quite The Sight
While Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) stood beneath and slightly to the right of the Salem Inn, engaged in a conversation about their commitment to transparency and the absence of secrets, Colin (Jasper Newman) and Talia struggled for control of a firearm on the hotel’s rooftop, eventually plummeting over the edge and landing on the cobblestones below. Sloan rushed to provide aid to her brother, while Eric joined forces with Jada (Elia Cantu) to remove the shattered awning from Talia’s motionless body. The injured individuals were swiftly transported to the nearby University Hospital, arriving just minutes after Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Paulina (JackĂ©e Harry) anxiously arrived, seeking updates on Abe’s (James Reynolds) condition. Sloan attempted to offer an apology, primarily directed at a seething Rafe (Galen Gering) rather than Chanel and Paulina, only to be abruptly dismissed.

Meanwhile, Eric learned about Abe’s severe injury and offered solace to a grief-stricken and vengeance-seeking Paulina. As Eric wheeled Paulina towards the chapel, Chanel provided her statement to Rafe and became defensive when he expressed that Talia had saved her life. “Like hell she did!” exclaimed Chanel, adding that if it weren’t for Talia, she wouldn’t have been on the roof, her mother wouldn’t have been endangered, and Colin wouldn’t have been able to execute his plan. Chanel firmly stated, “She still needs to be held accountable! Talia Hunter won’t get away with this, one way or another.”
On the subject of Talia, she faced a severe reprimand from her older sister and tried to justify Colin’s violent actions as a situation that “quickly spiraled out of control.” Jada demanded to know if Talia still had feelings for Colin despite everything he had done, but Talia was uncertain.

In another location, specifically Colin’s hospital room, Sloan received reassuring news from her brother’s attending physician that he would recover from the accident, and she expressed gratitude for the presence of an awning that saved him.

A visibly upset Jada entered the room and proceeded to handcuff Colin to his bed. In a plea to Sloan, Colin begged her to be his legal representation. Initially hesitant, Sloan eventually affirmed, “You’re my brother. That fact remains unchanged… Of course, I will assist you.” Eric, who had overheard their conversation, could only stand by, glaring at Sloan.
Meanwhile, Chanel passionately demanded retribution from Talia, seeking her immediate arrest. Taking matters into her own hands, Jada returned to Talia’s bedside, produced a pair of handcuffs, and recited her sister’s rights.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Drink It In
Meanwhile, at the DiMera mansion, Johnny arrived just in time to find a slightly tipsy Gabi and learn about her engagement to Stefan, along with admiring Gabi’s magnificent new ring. In the aftermath, Johnny inquired about Wendy’s presence at the office earlier that day. After racking her memory, Gabi responded negatively. Johnny’s excitement waned, and he had to explain to Gabi that if Wendy wasn’t at work, it meant she was still in Seattle with Tripp.
Gabi encouraged Johnny to fight for his love, but he casually remarked that he couldn’t compete if they weren’t on the same playing field. Nevertheless, Gabi persisted. “Hope and love, that’s what drives the world. Don’t forget that, Johnny D!”
Meanwhile, an enraged Wendy returned to her apartment, where she unleashed a torrent of misfortunes that occurred during her journey from Seattle upon Li, her brother.
First, she encountered a drunken fraternity guy who spilled beer all over her, resulting in a diversion to South Dakota. Then came the unexpected layover in Boise. It had been a terrible two days for her.

After teasing his sister, Li asked if she planned to inform Johnny of her return. Uncertain, Wendy hesitated.
Li assumed her hesitation stemmed from her fear that Johnny was interested in someone else, but Wendy revealed her own uncertainty about which gentleman she preferredâJohnny or Tripp, Tripp or Johnny.
Wendy complained about the frustration of not knowing who she truly wanted and acknowledged the need to choose between the two young men. This prompted Li to suggest that she didn’t have to make a decision immediately. Both Johnny and Tripp would be willing to wait because Wendy herself was worth waiting for. (Awwww. Brotherly love!)
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Visitorâs Say
To Li’s surprise, Gabi appeared at his doorstep. She acknowledged that she might be the last person he wanted to see, prompting Li to clarify that she was the last person he expected to see.
Gabi explained her purpose for being there, emphasizing her desire to personally return the signed divorce papers and share her engagement news.
However, Gabi had two additional goals to accomplish. Firstly, she aimed to convince Li that he would soon meet the right woman for him. Secondly, she wanted to part on good terms.

Returning to the DiMera mansion, Johnny made up his mind to give Wendy a call, only to be taken aback by the ringing sound coming from the other side of the front door. Coincidence? Not at all! It was Wendy herself who had come to visit.
An elated Johnny leaned in for a kiss, but Wendy leaned back, resulting in a slightly awkward start to their already uncomfortable conversation. Wendy proceeded to explain that although she was relieved they had put the proposal matter behind them, as she genuinely liked him and enjoyed being with him, she also had feelings for Tripp.
While Wendy stated that it wasn’t necessarily a competition, Johnny took it as a challenge and responded by passionately kissing her. Johnny D scored one for himself!
