Young and the Restless Spoilers |Diane Save Phyllis From Tragedy, Get Jeremy Arrested Instead
There’s little doubt that Phyllis Summer’s animosity for Mrs. Jenkins affected her judgment, leading her to team up with Jeremy and make a major mistake. She was supposed to fake her death as part of the plot, and then she would have to go into hiding. We also know that she was initially willing to sever all ties with everyone, even those closest to her if it meant Diane suffered in the process.
Perhaps one day Phyllis will realize that getting even isn’t worth the trouble. Since she faked her death, the strained relationship she shares with Summer and Daniel may only get worse. But Jeremy won’t stand by and let Phyllis abandon their plan and risk everything simply because she changed her mind. If Phyllis changes her mind, Jeremy will be the first to act, trapping her as a prisoner to keep his game going.
That could suggest that Phyllis will need saving at some point in the future. If Diane were to step in on Phyllis’s behalf, it would be a surprising turn of events. Diane is the only one who can accurately read Jeremy’s thoughts and predict his behavior. That’s probably their best shot at finally putting a stop to this dreadful war.

Diane has firsthand knowledge of Summer and Daniel’s pain, and she understands that their anguish will only increase once they hear that Phyllis wrecked their lives on purpose. Daniel and Summer might never forgive Phyllis again if they find out the truth about what happened.
Diane might show how kind she is by getting Phyllis away from Jeremy, even if it’s just for Summer and Daniel. She may say she knows what it’s like to suffer from guilt because of a choice she made that she now deeply regrets.
Diane may harbor resentment toward Phyllis for the rest of her life, but this could be a chance for the two of them to put their differences aside and work together. Perhaps Diane can help Phyllis get out of this jam with Jeremy if she plays the victim card.
Diane’s willingness to compromise with Phyllis for the sake of their children might be displayed beautifully if they do this. And Phyllis may be willing to accept the peace offering and the chance to flee the dangerous situation she helped create. This may be the turning point that allows Diane and Phyllis to put their differences behind them and move forward with an entirely new viewpoint. So, what do you think of Diane and Phyllis establishing an agreement while blaming Jeremy?
