Recently, tensions have been rising between Nate Hasting and Elena Dawson to the point of a potential breakdown in their relationship. There have been many ups and downs, but so far, their relationship has not been damaged by any of them. But that’s not how things have gone in the present. But then a bombshell of information will emerge, and their entire future might change for the better.
Those who have followed Y&R know that after Nate betrayed Chancellor Winters, he and Elena had a tremendous argument. They made some attempts at reconciliation, but things were never the same. Elena has observed a change in Nate that she doesn’t like after he left the medical area for the cutthroat business industry.

In his new position as CEO, Nate has become a nasty and ruthless tyrant. Despite his best attempts, he is not the same person Elena fell in love with. A dose of reality and a compelling reason to change Nate’s ways could bring out the best in him again.
And perhaps the writers will spring a major surprise on him that will prompt him to make some adjustments. A pregnancy plot involving Mariah and Tessa has been thrust onto Elena. Tessa and Mariah witnessed a pregnant woman giving birth at crimson lights, with Elena present to assist. Elena’s reassuring counsel helped Tessa, a new mother who was feeling overwhelmed, to calm down when she sought it out.
Tessa expressed gratitude to Elena for her help before the birth of their daughter Aria. Maybe this is a sign that she’s going to have a baby soon. So, guys, how do you feel about that possibility? Elena and Nate’s relationship may seem hopeless after his affair with Victoria, but an unexpected pregnancy could save them. That may be enough to convince Nate that there is more to life than securing a comfortable future for himself and his loved ones through material means.
It would be amusing to watch Nate struggle with the news of the baby and then do everything he can to salvage his relationship with Elena. Then, perhaps, he will understand his newfound purpose in life as a potential father. Do you think this unexpected pregnancy bombshell will be enough to save Nate and Elena’s relationship?
