Elena Dawson is experiencing yet another love life crisis and realizes she has to take a new approach to finding love. Because of Nate Hastings’s infidelity with Victoria Newman, Elena now knows that she deserves more than a cheater who cheats on her twice as often. After finally breaking up with Nate, Elena is lost and lonely, uncertain of what her heart wants.
Unfortunately, Elena’s love life options are limited within her circle, with not a lot of eligible bachelors within reach. There have been rumors of a reconciliation between Sharon Rosales and Nick Newman, which would leave the road open for the Chance Chancellor to capture Elena’s heart. The show has also teased that Noah Newman might be a potential romantic interest for Elena. Some viewers, however, might be unhappy if Noah’s relationship with Allie Nguyen were to end.
The simplest and most obvious option, though, would be for Elena to get back together with Devon Hamilton, the man she once loved. There is still undeniably great chemistry between the two of them, despite their troubled past of deceit. After all, Nate has put Elena through, Devon will still care passionately for her. Elena may find the consolation and comfort she needs from Devon as she attempts to put her wounded heart back together.

However, as Elena and Devon begin to get closer to one another, Abby Newman may catch them in a compromised position, thereby laying the groundwork for an exciting and explosive love triangle. The connection between Devon and Abby has already gone through its fair share of challenges, and the addition of Elena to the dynamic has the potential to create a hurdle that may be too tough to overcome.
At the same time, a love triangle is developing that might change everything. Abby feels a pang of envy as she watches Devon and Elena become closer. She’s been cheated on before, and the prospect of losing Devon to anyone else is too much to take.
With Nate out of the picture, anything may happen on The Young and the Restless. Will Elena be able to find love once more, or will the memories of her previous relationships always haunt her? Who knows what the future holds, but one thing is certain: viewers won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional roller coaster.
