Esme, growing increasingly suspicious of Alexis and Sam, started probing for answers, but Alexis took the opportunity to clarify to the young woman why she was in need of a job. Molly and TJ received distressing news from Dr. Navarro, leaving them uncertain about their next steps. Lastly, Holly and Robert reached a pivotal decision regarding the future of their relationship.
General Hospital Recap: Curtis Ashford Has Paternity Woes
The deliveries of messages persisted, and Spencer found himself as the next recipient of an invitation to Victor’s will reading. This immediately sparked concern in Portia due to Trina’s ties to the Cassadine family. Curtis attempted to ease Portia’s worries, offering praise for Spencer’s actions in Greenland, but it did little to alleviate her apprehension. Meanwhile, Trina expressed her disapproval of Spencer attending the reading, but her attention shifted when Taggert appeared in the hospital corridors. Finally, a lab technician arrived, offering Curtis and Trina the option to have their cheeks swabbed for testing. Curtis volunteered to go first, while Trina anxiously waited her turn.

General Hospital Recap: Curtis Ashford Makes A Surprising Move
Upon Curtis’s arrival at The Savoy after undergoing the DNA test, he was taken by surprise when Jordan sneaked up behind him. This prompted Curtis to express his doubts aloud about whether he made the right decision in taking the test. Jordan reassured him that he did, but Curtis questioned whether it would be better for Trina to believe Taggert was her biological father. He desired the best outcome for Trina while also hoping that the results would confirm their biological connection. When Jordan pledged her unwavering support for Curtis, he impulsively grabbed her and kissed her, and she didn’t resist.
General Hospital Recap: Esme’s New Life, Molly’s New Heartache
Sam was taken aback when she saw Alexis giving Esme a tour of The Invader offices. Esme recognized Sam from their encounter at Spring Ridge and became worried that Sam was a reporter. However, Sam clarified that Alexis was her mother, which only heightened Esme’s paranoia about the Cassadine women manipulating her. When Alexis introduced Esme as her new receptionist, Esme hesitated, unsure if she should trust this job offer.
Alexis managed to convince Esme to stay by explaining that Ace being a Cassadine made Esme part of the family and any mother would be happy to have a job to support her child. Reluctantly, Esme agreed to keep the job and left, leaving Sam questioning whether Alexis knew what she was doing. Alexis assured Sam that she wouldn’t be fooled as she was with Harmony. Just then, Alexis received her invitation to the will reading, and Sam revealed that she also received one. They both wondered about Victor’s true intentions with this will. The conversation then shifted to Gregory, but Alexis chose not to disclose to Sam that Gregory had ALS. She mentioned that she hadn’t heard from Gregory since he delivered some bad news that she wasn’t ready to share with Sam.

Later, Spencer was shocked to see Esme exiting the elevator and even more surprised when she mentioned that she was there for a drug test for the job his Aunt Alexis had offered her. Trina and Spencer immediately grew suspicious of this job offer, but Esme explained that she needed the money and thus accepted the job.
Once Esme was out of sight, Trina told Spencer that Esme having a job was a positive thing since it increased the likelihood of her staying in Port Charles with Ace. Portia witnessed the intimate conversation between Trina and Spencer and became displeased. She informed Taggert that she was ready to put an end to their relationship.
Meanwhile, Molly and TJ anxiously awaited their doctor in an exam room. When Dr. Navarro finally arrived, she confirmed that Molly had severe endometriosis. A fertility test revealed that Molly would likely never be able to conceive a child. However, the doctor mentioned that there were alternative paths to parenthood. Despite the options, Molly was distraught and simply wanted to cry in TJ’s comforting embrace.

General Hospital Recap: An End For Robert And Holly
At The Savoy, Robert expressed his suspicions about Holly’s involvement with Selina Wu, accusing her of engaging in something deceitful. Holly requested a private moment with Robert to explain Ethan’s difficult situation. She revealed that she needed money and believed Selina might be able to provide a quick infusion of cash.
Robert, wanting to assist Holly, prompted her to confess her feelings for him. Although she was in love with him, Holly was hesitant to involve him in any trouble while she helped Ethan. However, Robert questioned how they could have a meaningful relationship if she kept her illegal activities hidden. While promising to support her, Robert couldn’t envision a future together under these circumstances. Tearfully, Holly realized she had likely missed her chance with Robert. Ultimately, Holly and Robert shared a heartfelt farewell kiss.
