General Hospital Comings and Goings July 24: Brooke Anne Smith Debuts as Molly Recast
A new actress has been cast as Molly.
With Brooke Anne Smith making her long-awaited debut as the recast Molly on the July 19 episode, fans are eager to learn more about the events that led to this momentous development.
Haley’s life took a dramatic turn for the worse in early May when she was involved in a DUI-related accident. Therefore, the brilliant Mia Kriegel was called in to fill in for the time being.
Even though Kriegel did a fantastic job in the role, the producers wanted someone really special to play Molly going forward.
As a result, they set out to find a more permanent answer, which finally led them to the amazing Brooke Anne Smith.
The audio announced Smith as Molly without mentioning a temporary arrangement. With Haley Pullos’s legal troubles in mind, it’s no wonder that Smith’s place in Port Charles has been established on the show.
And as fans were getting used to all the new Mollys, they were also meeting the new Kristina. When Mansi replaced Lexi Ainsworth in May, she brought a new dynamic to the Davis women.

With so many changes occurring off-screen, it’s understandable that some viewers have had trouble becoming invested in the surrogacy plot that’s only beginning to develop.
New cast members, however, are bound to provide new insights and make it simpler for viewers to accept the show’s developing narrative.
Brooke While Anne Smith’s portrayal of Molly Davis may not be an instant hit with fans of the character, they should give her a chance to reimagine the role.
Despite their disputes at first, it soon became apparent that Pullos would not be returning to Port Charles as Molly. As Molly and Kristina face new obstacles, future episodes are sure to provide dramatic moments that will keep viewers engaged.
