It’s likely that Xander and Gwen will give in to their dark urges. Sarah wanted him to become a good man, and he indeed made an effort, but deep down he was still the same. Now, Gwen already accepts and loves him for himself, so there’s no need for him to change himself to win her affection.
She is well aware that he isn’t perfect, and neither is she. Right now, nothing is the same since Gwen was kicked out of the Horton mansion by Jack, who doesn’t want anything to do with her.
He believes that he’s done with her for good. Thus, it’s safe to assume that their relationship will get more problematic in the near future. It’s obvious that Gwen and Xander have horrible influences on one another.
So, it looks as if they are going to join forces to plan a revenge scheme. She can put her blackmailing skills to good use. As we know, she is no longer working at The Spectator, and he’s still lacking money and living in that shabby motel.
As a result, Xander believes that she should now throw an unexpected bombshell on Jack in order to collect her due. If we recall, when Jennifer was high and drove over Gwen, Gwen was extremely hurt, and she later found out that she was hit by Jennifer.
Even so, she didn’t reveal the truth to anyone. Jennifer secretly checked herself into a rehabilitation center, so she was never formally accused of any wrongdoing.
However, Gwen may soon change tack and get revenge on Jennifer. She might easily report Jennifer’s crime to the police by pretending that her trauma has been resolved.
Furthermore, she may blackmail Jennifer into imprisoning her while Xander supports her. There’s no doubt that Gwen and Xander will work as a team to threaten Jack into giving up The Spectator to them.
Hence, it seems that Jack will be put through this terrible ordeal, all just before Jennifer’s unexpected homecoming on Valentine’s Day.
If she learns about the mess he’s in, she might blame herself for his loss. Whatever the case, Gwen and Xander will get the upper hand if they resort to shady tactics.
