Young and the Restless Spoilers | Jack Life Saving Sacrifice, Jeremy Ultimate Takedown Backfires
The tension between Jeremy Stark and Diane Jenkins is so intense. Although Jeremy is crafting a plan to bring down his rival, Diane is doing all in her power to stay one step ahead of him and defeat his schemes. Nonetheless, the question remains as to why Diane even bothered to return to Genoa City in the first place. Now, however, it is clear that she had good cause to act in such a way.
Diane had been living under the name Taylor Jensen in Los Angeles, where it would have been very hard for her to beat or even stop Jeremy. Yet the truth was that she had good reason to come back to Genoa City. She staged her own murder and blamed it on Nikki Newman, creating a ton of trouble for Jack Abbott and his family. As a result of her disappearance, Jack was left to raise his son alone.
Diane and Jeremy are quite different people, yet they share a total lack of respect for the potential consequences of their acts. They both seem to have an egocentric worldview, caring only about their own needs and wants and ignoring the consequences of their actions for others around them.
Diane was hurt when Jeremy used her as a money mule to help him reach his own illegal goals. In spite of this, she stood up to him by submitting proof to the authorities regarding the wrongdoing he had committed. She was only trying to keep herself out of prison, but Jeremy can’t seem to grasp it.
Moreover, Phyllis Summers was just as helpless by giving Jeremy Diane’s contact information. Phyllis was motivated by her own animosity toward Diane, as she believed that Diane was to blame for her own time behind bars.
For months now, Jeremy has been trying to track down Diane, but she and Jack have been doing all in their power to evade him. They even tried to frame him for grand theft, but their clumsy plans didn’t work out in the end. Although Diane is using Jack as a shield from Jeremy, she feels true affection for him.
As a whole, it appears that carelessness is at the root of every issue these people have. They have all made the mistake of believing their actions have no consequences and are now paying the price. Yet the suspense is so great that you have to worry about what’s going to happen. Will Jeremy find Diane and Jack in the end? Or will they outsmart him yet again?
Goodbye and see you again.
