Without a doubt, Ashley and Tucker’s main goal will be to get Diane Jenkins riled up and get her to sabotage herself. Once Jack finds it in his heart to forgive Phyllis, then there’s no doubt that his actions will greatly irritate Diane.

After all, Phyllis is the very reason why she ended up behind bars. Aside from that, she’s also the reason why Kyle Abbott and Summer Newman-Abbott are no longer together. The fact that Phyllis is still free already makes Diane’s blood boil.

The moment she finds out that Jack forgave her, she’ll no doubt lose her cool. Of course, we’re not saying that it’ll be easy for Jack to forgive Phyllis for everything she’s done and put his family through. Though, forgiveness isn’t impossible either.
After all, Jack eventually forgave Diane for her past mistakes which weren’t very pretty. If Phyllis agrees to Tucker and Ashley’s plan, then she’ll have a lot of work to do if she’s going to try and get Jack’s forgiveness.
Once the forgiveness it granted, that’s exactly the kind of thing that could be a deal breaker for Jack and Diane. If you’ve been following the Young and the Restless, then you must be aware that forgiveness is always the first step that eventually leads to a romantic reunion.
