The Young and The Restless Spoilers for the week of May 15. Nate Hastings and Audra Charles meet in private as the drama in Genoa City escalates. Nate wants to find common ground with Audra, but he can’t forget her previous treachery.
He thinks that they may be able to aid one another in achieving their objectives, but stresses the need for trust. Audra is open to hearing Nate out since she eventually wants to take over Newman Media. But Nate isn’t about to let Audra off the hook just yet, and he has a few surprises up his sleeve.
In the meantime, Audra has also set her eyes on Nate on a more intimate level. She would much rather have him sleep in her bed than in Victoria Newman’s, but she is aware that in order to do so, she must first earn his confidence. On the other hand, she has no idea that Nate may be luring her into a trap, just as Elena had cautioned her about the possibility. Will Audra heed the warning in time to prevent a disastrous outcome?
At the same time, over at Crimson Lights, Chelsea Lawson observes that Daniel Romalotti Jr. has a frightened expression on his face. She seems to sense something is wrong and questions him about it. While Daniel does let Chelsea in on the fact that he’s waiting for something devastating to happen, he remains silent on the subject of Phyllis Summers’ survival. Does Daniel know what’s going on, or is he simply another victim of the unrest that seems to follow everyone in Genoa City?

Back at Newman Enterprises, Jack and Kyle Abbott are doing all they can to clear Diane Jenkins’ reputation and discover proof that Phyllis is alive. They kick off their search for the truth by poking through the remnants of Jeremy Stark’s last hotel room. But as they go through the debris, they begin to suspect that they could be in over their heads.
Even though Jack is unsure of the specifics of their search, he is certain that they will recognize success when they find it. Kyle is dead set on getting to the bottom of things.
As the many narrative threads come together, it becomes abundantly evident that no one in Genoa City is in a secure position. The question is whether or not Nate can put his confidence in Audra, whose friendship holds the key to his future success. Audra’s drive is boundless, and she’ll do whatever it takes to succeed.
Chelsea’s inquisitive nature may put her in harm’s way if she pursues the truth too closely. And if Jack and Kyle dig out truths that were supposed to remain buried, it might have unexpected consequences.
