How much is too much when it comes to soap operas and their over-the-top dramas? Well, if you ask me, I say it’s always not enough. The writers will find a way to top off one stupid decision of theirs with another one. Regardless, this time we have another shocking paternity drama.
You might have guessed it already, but it seems Kyle Abbott might not be an Abbott after all. In fact, he might be a Stark. Rumor has it that Jeremy Stark might actually be Kyle’s bio dad. Now we know that soaps usually don’t like exchanging paternity when the characters are adults, but this storyline is one of those exceptions.
This brings me to point out the fact that it seems Diane and Jeremy stark go way back. Maybe around the time, Diane was pregnant with Kyle or even further. Kyle was born in 2001, on January 8, although that doesn’t matter too much because, you know, SORAS.
Nonetheless, when she got pregnant, she had her sneaky moves on as she’d thought of inserting frozen sperms to get pregnant with Victor’s child. Unfortunately for her, the sample got lost, but she found it in a lab and proceeded with her scheme anyway.
Although she was sleeping with Jack then, she didn’t even think for a moment that the child she was carrying could be his. DNA tests are often altered and changed in soaps. And since the show has not yet revealed how long Diane and Jeremy have known one another. Maybe they go way back before Kyle’s birth.
Perhaps someone changed the paternity then because they did not want Victor to raise Diane’s son. Regardless, when it comes to soaps, nothing is ever fixed. So, the stakes are pretty high when it comes to Kyle’s paternity.
In fact, Jeremy may have known about it for a long time. And that, why he may be even more bitter toward Diane because she kept his son from him or something. Or there, also a chance that he never wanted to raise him, but now that he wants revenge, he reveals this detail that he gives zero Fs about to create even more trouble in Diane’s life than the one he, already planned with Phyllis.
No matter what happens, the bottom line is both Kyle and Jack will be more than devastated, And when this revelation happens, if Jeremy genuinely desires to bond with his son, it will be too late as he’s already set the stage to frame Diane for Phyllis’ fake death.
