Young and the Restless Spoilers | Kyle Slapped Summer Divorce Ultimatum, Choose Mom Over Wife
Kyle and Summer are very comfortable with each other. With Summer starting to lie, Kyle is certain to wonder what’s up with his wife. Furthermore, Summer is not a good liar, stumbling her way through this and leaving Kyle puzzled.
Eventually, Kyle may decide to probe Summer’s thoughts for the source of her distress. Perhaps Kyle will follow Summer to her future Phyllis appointment. There, Kyle will find out that Phyllis is still alive and finally understand why Summer has been hiding this fact from him. She may have to wait a while for him to find out about this, even if she has no intention of keeping it secret.
Summer’s testimony could have vindicated Diane, who has been accused of killing Phyllis. But she didn’t, and that’s the worst-case scenario in Kyle’s view. It’s reasonable that Summer would blame Diane for her mother’s untimely death.

But now that Summer knows Phyllis is still alive, she is letting her innocent mother-in-law face prosecution, which is a whole different ballgame. Kyle is doing everything he can to get his mom out of this jam, and here his wife refuses to help him in this predicament, which is certain to stir problems in the coming times.
Kyle is worried that his marriage won’t be able to withstand this current challenge. In this case, Summer’s activities will inevitably lead to a slew of difficulties that will ultimately strain their marriage to the breaking point. Once Kyle finds out about Summer’s deceit, the situation is likely to become more tense. In this case, will Kyle demand a divorce after discovering Phyllis’s survival and Summer’s reluctance to aid him in his plight?
Since Summer supports Phyllis over Diane, Kyle may decide to end his marriage. Summer’s preference for the liar Phyllis over Kyle may lead him to believe their marriage is doomed. Given the current situation, he is likely to take action, possibly including a demand for separation or even divorce.
Once Kyle learns how dishonest Summer and Phyllis have been, he won’t be able to carry on as if nothing has changed. Instead, once the truth is out in the open, Kyle will be faced with some tough choices. His marriage to Summer will be tested even further by this revelation.
