Young and Restless Spoilers | Kyle Smacked With Shocker News, Diane Dilemma Turns Tragedy
The viewers of The Young and the Restless are headed for an emotional roller coaster as Summer Newman struggles with the consequences of her mother Phyllis Summers’ passing away. The devastating news of her mother’s passing strikes her hard, and she finds herself trying to deal with the flood of feelings that it brings.
Since Summer had cut off all contact with Phyllis in the weeks leading up to her passing, it was very difficult for her to accept the loss of her mother. She is going through a severe phase of grieving, yet despite this, she cannot contain her wrath. Who exactly is the target of her rage? Nobody else except Diane Jenkins, of course.
We will see Summer in her most ferocious state as she lashes out at Diane with a ranting barrage of rage and even levels some allegations in her direction. Nevertheless, why? Now we know that Jeremy Stark has set up Diane as part of a plot to stage Phyllis’s death. It’s possible that Summer will believe it, given how desperately she wants to find someone to blame.

As Summer never put her faith in Diane, she has no trouble blaming her mother’s death on that person. She could claim that Diane is to blame for Phyllis’s collapse and the immediate fire in the ambulance.
The timing of this crisis couldn’t be worse for Summer and Kyle Abbott’s marriage. They’ve never gotten along very well with Diane, but they put up a unified front for the sake of their marriage. Summer may be on the verge of turning against Kyle as well due to her resentment of Diane.
Kyle may argue on his mother’s behalf and attempt to persuade Summer that Jeremy is responsible, but Summer may have already made up her mind. The marriage may be in jeopardy if Summer continues to refuse to reside with Diane.
Kyle cares deeply about Summer and wants to be there for her while she grieves, but he could be in a sticky situation if he tries to do so. He probably won’t want to leave her alone at this tough time, so he may have to move out with her to a motel.
Summer will have to resort to staying at a hotel to avoid Diane, even if it means having to distance herself from Kyle. We can’t help but worry how this tragic turn of events with Phyllis will affect Kyle and Summer’s relationship. Will they be able to ride out the storm together, or will it break them apart? Nothing but time shall tell.
