Victor Newman is really upset with his sons as he just can’t see what they see on Sally Spectra. First, it was Adam Newman, but now even Nick Newman has fallen completely in love with her. But he wishes that his son was not dating Sally when she’s carrying his brother’s child.
Of course, it is bizarre and awkward, and it’d be best if Nick stepped aside, but as once Gloria from Modern Family said, “It’s a freak show, but it’s their freak show.” Hence, Victor better keeps his butt out of this mess.
Nonetheless, the sonogram appointment sorta revealed what it’d be like once Sally does give birth. Nick would look like a total third wheel. 0 maybe he realizes himself and decides to let these two raise their child. We can clearly see that Adam and Sally are kind of drawing closer to one another.

This means Nick will have no choice but to back off. But then again, it’s about what Sally needs and wants. If Sally wants Nick, then so be it. I mean, who are we to try to put a stop to someone’s happiness? We don’t know what happen in the future, but for now, Sally’s into Nick and hope this works out. Naturally, we wish her the best.
Although she’s also a mother now, And since she decided not to terminate the child and give birth. Half of her decisions should also include the future of her baby. Sally might want to be with Nick, but we all know that will only complicate matters more.
For one, what would that child call Nick? uncle step-father? Or will Adam be the uncle’s father? Can you imagine how complicated the family tree will be when she’s told to make one by her teacher?
Let’s not go that far. Let’s stick to co-parenting. Although Nick knows it’s Adam’s daughter, he will definitely want to try to act as if she’s his. Nick’s raising Christian, isn’t he? So what makes us think he won’t fight for Adam’s daughter too?
Heck, he hasn’t yet told I Love You to Sally, so can we really trust his words? Maybe he doesn’t love Sally. Maybe he wants to be a reminder to Adam that he lost even though he had a baby with Sally.
Regardless, the bottom line is that this co-parenting thing will be an even bigger issue than we have imagined. So I reckon that Sally needs to be wise and let Nick go. After all, it’s about her baby now, not just her.
