Young and the Restless 5-5-23 Spoilers | Nikki Slaps Pregnant Sally – Nick Furious!
In the coming days, it’s possible that Nikki Newman will want to have a chat with Sally Spectra. With Victor Newman’s approach being too harsh and downright unethical, Nikki might try to have a conversation with Sally Spectra by actually making her feel like a human being.
So who knows, maybe Nikki will be able to find a better approach to get Sally out of her son’s life. As Nick and Sally’s relationship is causing a lot of issues, Nikki plans to speak with Sally one-on-one to find common ground and work towards a solution that will benefit everyone.
Since Nikki has a deeper bond with Nick than Victor, she knows she won’t be able to convince Nick to give up on Sally. But she can still get through Sally if she tries hard enough, and she might do exactly that.
I mean, who needs a therapist when you have a meddling mother-In-law to solve all your problems, right? I get that Nikki, approach to Sally stems from the fact that she wants Nick to be happy, but I just can’t figure out why no one thinks about how this will stress the newly pregnant woman.
Besides, Nick is an adult, and he can make his own choices, whether is bad or not. Nonetheless, spoilers reveal that Nikki’s approach might touch Sally’s heart. Especially given the fact that Nikki approached her not because she just wanted to throw Sally away but because she genuinely wanted to see both of them happy and can’t have more family dramas.

In the end, though, Sally may decide to break it off with Nick. The theme of family and togetherness is a significant one in The Young and the Restless, especially for Sally, who has been abandoned before. And since Nikki wants to make sure that her son is surrounded by love and support and is willing to take any necessary steps to ensure that. Sally may think that she can’t strip a family of their son just because she, is in love with him.
Lastly, Sally might just decide to let Nick go. And although I understand Nikki’s approach, it feels more like a manipulation to me. Any mother who really loves her son knows to let him make his own choices and not drive the woman he loves away.
