Oops! Diane and Jack Wedding Turns Crime Scene | Young and the Restless Spoilers
Summer’s predicament won’t stop Diane Jenkins from offering her a job. Diane will decide to offer Summer before Kyle finds out the truth about Phyllis.
Kyle and Summer’s marriage is currently under strain. Diane hopes that by helping them mend their differences here, they may go forward together. Diane is convinced that Phyllis is the real evil here. And she says she has no problem with Summer being her maid of honor. Diane thinks Summer has nothing to do with the recent events with Phyllis.
Aside from that, Diane may view this as a fantastic beginning to creating the type of family she has always desired. She plans on assuring Summer that she, too, is a victim and that Summer is not to blame for Phyllis’s behavior.
On the other hand, Summer could get angry if Diane continues to treat Phyllis like trash. This could cause unfavorable results. In Summer’s opinion, Diane is not a good person. Even though she did not kill Phyllis, she continues to hold her mother-in-law, Diane, responsible for what has happened.
Summer’s outburst that “everything would be OK now if only Diane would have stayed dead” is simple to imagine. After that, Summer will unleash her fury on Diane in the days to come on the soap.

Given Diane’s efforts to include Summer in wedding preparations and her comments about Phyllis, Summer’s animosity toward her may become evident. Perhaps Summer will tell Diane she cannot be her matron of honor and that they have no family ties.
Summer looks ready to out Diane off with a scathing answer, making it clear where she stands and possibly shaming Diane in the process. Will Diane continue to put up with Summer’s awful behavior, or will she finally stand up to her? Diane may feel compelled to respond if Summer is persistent in her criticism of her for her own mistakes. In any case, Diane will let Summer know what she’s thinking and will likely give this matron of honor an invite, but a stinging rejection is on the horizon.
