Faking her death has made it difficult for Phyllis to escape her current situation. She’s looking for a way out of this predicament where she won’t have to pay any price while still making Diane Jenkins’ life a living hell. Phyllis has turned to Summer for assistance, so perhaps she’ll be able to get out of this jam soon. OK, now let’s break down this proposed approach.
First of all, she doesn’t want to face any kind of punishment for pretending to die, setting Diane up for murder, and then killing Jeremy. It seems unlikely that she will be able to get out of this jam with everything going on at once.
The best way out of this situation is to act as a victim of Jeremy and demonstrate that she had nothing to do with the plot. With this in mind, she might set up a trail of clues for Chance to follow. This could bring Chance to the cellar or another hiding place where Phyllis is being held captive.

Phyllis might then play the victim card by claiming that she is unaware of what is going on as she falls unconscious from poison. She might also stress the significance of Jeremy capturing her and releasing his associates to bring her daily supplies. Additionally, she may pretend ignorance of Jeremy’s death by acting astonished.
She’ll give you a hint of what it was like to be locked up throughout this awful event. Phyllis’s intention here is to cause trouble for Diane, but given the circumstances, she is unlikely to succeed. These factors were sufficient for her to give up. And then she might say that Jeremy made her see Diane as an enemy when he was the one who intended to hurt her.
Such a scenario could provide a way out of her voicemail and then act as a recall of something about Jeremy with a poison bottle. Phyllis will look like a hero to Diane for coming to her aid in this predicament. This will show that Phyllis is innocent and was duped by Jeremy. Putting all the responsibility on Jeremy seemed like the best way out of her position.
But if EMT Carson chooses to talk about the complete situation without hiding, this story may be readily exposed. Phyllis will then be in deep legal danger for her criminal behavior and for misleading the officer. If Phyllis wanted to fix this issue, she could simply pay Carson a large sum of money to keep him quiet. By doing it this way, she can save face and get out of her jam.
But it’s feasible that Chance will find a hole in Phyllis’s story and start to suspect actual developments. Still, Phyllis acting as if she were a hostage of Jeremy’s and blaming him is the most logical explanation for her getting out of this jam.
