Young and the Restless 5-6-23 Spoilers | Sally Is Victor’s Long Lost Daughter as Mystery Unfolds
Victor Newman’s animosity toward Sally Spectra dates back years and years ago. But he’s been even more concerned about her ever since Sally started dating Nick Newman while carrying Adam Newman’s child.
In a recent episode, he even bribed her and asked her to leave Genoa City after giving birth to her daughter, He basically attempted to buy her daughter. The thing is, we just can’t figure out why he hates this woman so much.
This is surprising and stupid, given that Victor himself has had to fight his way to the top with a cutthroat approach that has earned him the nickname “the Black Knight.” So why is Victor so mad at Sally?
Maybe it’s because of Sally’s lack of a wealthy background. However, this is unlikely, considering he has supported his son Nick’s decision to be with Sharon, who definitely did not come from money.

Victor’s late wife Hope was also of modest means, and he had no qualms about marrying her. And let’s not forget Nikki, who was working as a stripper when she and Victor first met. So what on earth is his problem?
Another possibility is that Victor objects to Sally’s scheming nature. Yes, because when I think of people who value honesty, integrity, and loyalty, the first person who comes to mind is Victor Newman. Oh, of course, Victor doesn’t have a problem with Sally’s scheming. He’s probably just jealous that she’s better at it than he is.
Anyway, Sally is no worse than other exes of Victor’s sons, such as Phyllis and Chelsea. Besides, it’s not like Victor has a history of being manipulative, controlling, ruthless or anything. Sally is clearly the problem here.
You know what? Sally’s cunning could potentially make her a valuable asset to the Newman dynasty. It’s possible that Victor is simply biding his time and observing Sally’s actions, waiting for the right opportunity to bring her into the fold. Or perhaps there is some other factor at play that we are not yet aware of.
In any case, it is clear that Victor’s attitude towards Sally is not based on any obvious reason. Perhaps there are deeper issues at play, or maybe the writers are simply keeping us in suspense.
Sally really missed out on a great opportunity here. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be part of a family that’s constantly scheming against each other and tearing each other down?
