Prepare yourself for a wild journey because “The Young and the Restless” is about to turn up the heat! The spoilers indicate that Diane Jenkins is going to have a lot of difficulties in the future. Her rival, Phyllis Summers, and her sidekick, Jeremy Stark, are cooking up a devious plan to take her down in the near future.
The two ladies get into it in a terrible way in the new promo, and it’s rather spicy. After discovering that Phyllis had lied to her about Kyle being ill with the intention of luring her away from the gala, Diane is beyond herself with rage. And when Phyllis informs her that she attempted to steal everything from her, Diane loses her cool.
But, things rapidly became physical when Phyllis gave Diane a strong push, which was followed by a slap. Phyllis had achieved precisely what she set out to do, just in time for when the Abbotts arrived to watch the action. But, they are completely unaware of what they are about to get into.
Diane is strangling Phyllis and making threats to murder her as they go into the apartment together. And to make things even worse, Diane tells her, “Give the world a favor and strangle yourself to death. After hearing what happened, Kyle, Jack, and Summer are left speechless and appalled. And little do they realize, this was all part of a broader plot.

Phyllis and Jeremy have just begun their scheme, and Diane is their intended victim. The next step is to stage her suicide and then ditch the ring so the police have something to go on. Jack had intended to propose during the gala, but with this show of disdain, he may have to postpone the big announcement.
The tension is rising, and the viewer is well aware of Jack’s tendency to pass judgment. Even though he knows that Phyllis has been trying to hurt Diane for months, he may need to change his mind about them getting married.
