Summer Newman and Kyle Abbott’s marriage has come a long way, but they’ve recently run into several kinds of problems. And Phyllis’s false death scheme might be the final straw that breaks apart the happy couple.
We all know that Phyllis and Jeremy have been conspiring to fake the deaths so that they can frame Diane for murder and make her life a living hell. Summer isn’t aware of Phyllis’s scheme; instead, she believes that she has met a grim fate at the hands of Diane. And so she holds Diane responsible for her mother’s untimely demise.
Kyle, on the other hand, is certain that Diane would not have resorted to such measures in her conflict with Phyllis. It’s possible that things could get even worse than they are right now if they start having conflicting thoughts. Yet, Kyle is concerned about his predicament and tom about choosing a side. However, something else could come up during the investigation and make things unbearable for Kyle and Summer.
Summer has been increasingly insistent on pursuing justice for herself and her mother by means of Chance. As a result, Chance reassures Summer and even offers to drive her home. And, unavoidably, Kyle overhears the whole thing.

If that happens, we fully expect an argument from Kyle about how Chance hasn’t made up for the fact that he wrongfully arrested Diane. Kyle will also claim that Summer was deceived by Chance’s remarks into believing that Diane was responsible for Phyllis’s death.
Kyle will also tell Chance not to tamper with Summer, as otherwise, he will take action against him. And with this, a new rivalry begins in the soap opera. Kyle’s recent behavior, which includes shouting threats and turning on Chance, may be a sign of impending trouble.
Here, Kyle’s animosity for Chance is stoked at every opportunity, while Summer approves of the measures being taken to punish the perpetrator of evil. That will give Kyle and Summer more reasons to argue, and it may even make Summer feel romantic toward Chance.
Summer’s marriage is on the brink of collapse, giving the possibility of her being engaged in an affair with Chance. And this becomes more likely given their interests, which seem to be well aligned. Surprisingly, all the drama surrounding Diane could lead to a sexual encounter between Chance and Summer.
And once Diane’s name is cleared of this charge, Summer may come to regret it. At least until Kyle finds out, Summer and Chance may try to hide this affair as best they can. Since the truth is important to Chance, he won’t give up on this investigation until he gets to the bottom of it. And after Phyllis murdered Jeremy, Chance’s inquiry has become darker and more complex.
