Devon has also come back to Chancellor-Winters to fulfill Lily Winters’s original dream of a consolidated family business. The question is whether or not Devon is content with his decision. Abby is always there for Devon, helping him weigh his options and find perspective no matter what comes up. So, she may ask him a few questions to make sure he’s taking the path he wants to take.
While it’s positive that Devon has decided to drop the lawsuit and accept the merger, it’s a different story that he’s now back at work after such a long leave. Devon may still persuade Lily that he is committed to working things out and would put their sibling bond first going forward.
Next, Lily and Daniel will take a bold step forward in their romance. Lily’s unwavering support during Daniel’s struggles has helped strengthen their bond. And when it comes to the revival of their feelings for one another, Daniel and Lily should be on the same page. Things are looking up for them to begin a romantic connection in the soap opera series.
Victor Newman, having learned the entire extent of Sally’s predicament, will question Nick directly about his intentions. He is not fond of Nick being so close to Sally, let alone the two of them being romantically involved. But when the truth is revealed, he will be enraged. When Victor finds out that Sally is expecting a child with Adam, he will think even less favorably of Nick and Sally’s relationship. He will act as if Nick’s actions are purely unreasonable.
Perhaps Victor will start to wonder if Nick is only acting this way to put salt in Adam’s wound. Although he will stand up for his relationship with Sally, Victor may be concerned that she may return to Adam now that the two of them have a kid together. While Victor originally predicted Adam would be the one left pining, he may now think Nick is destined to come out on the losing end of this romance. No matter what happens, the birth of Adam and Sally’s kid will cause a major upheaval in their lives, with some far-reaching consequences in `Y&R.
