The Young and the Restless spoiler Wednesday, May 17. Once again, Nick Newman and Victoria Newman will get into a heated argument about how she feels about Nate Hasting. After what happened recently, Elena Dawson broke up with Nate and walked out of his place. And it looks like Victoria can protect her relationship with Nate.
Now that they are both single, Victoria might not see a problem. However, Nick won’t agree to that. He will doubt Nate’s dedication again, which is fair because Nate has given him so many reasons to doubt. During his time at Chancellor-Winters, he even betrayed a member of his own family. Then he did some hard things to break Elena’s trust in him. So, it makes sense for Nick to wonder if Nate is serious about being with Victoria.
But Victoria doesn’t mind things like that. She sees herself as a little bit of a snake and thinks she can handle it well. She also thinks they are on the same page and will be able to communicate better. Nick, on the other hand, will worry that Nate’s desire for power could cause trouble. He will worry that he will take advantage of her sister, but she will tell him to go.

Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin will update Lauren Baldwin on the truth about Phyllis Summer. Thanks to Daniel, word is getting around town that Phyllis faked her death. Lauren will be shocked to hear this and will urge you to be in charge to confirm it. So, it sounds like she will make plans to find Phyllis on her own or find another way to get her to come out of hiding.
All the while, Ashley will keep making small talk that will annoy Diane. But it looks like Diane will soon win this fight without much trouble. Now that Diane knows Phyllis is alive and doing well, she thinks she will be free soon. Ashley doesn’t know about this news yet, and Diane could turn things around by slapping this truth on her face.
Of course, Kyle and Jack want to keep this a secret for now. But Diane might not be able to if Ashley keeps making fun of her about going to jail. She will always hope that Phyllis will be found. If Phyllis is found quickly, Diane will be able to get out of this murder mystery charge faster and live a fulfilled life in Y&R.
