Slowly but surely, the relationship between Billy Abbott and Chelsea Lawson is becoming something more than friendly. They’ve been able to help each other get through tough times and get back on their feet.
Think back to when Chelsea almost committed suicide by jumping off the roof. Billy swooped in at the last second to save her and then did everything he could to help her on the path to recovery. Since then, they have unmistakably been drawing closer; given that their advancement has been modest, it has been steady.
But before all that, Chelsea and Billy had an intimate relationship while under the influence of drugs. Then she became pregnant and gave birth to Johnny shortly afterward. Many viewers, aware of Billy’s and Chelsea’s tragic histories, find it unsettling that they are falling in love. They consider It insulting. They think there’s no way out of It.
To counter this, let’s take a step back and think about Billy in the real-world scenario, not just the fictitious one. If the victim does not harbor resentment toward the offender and accepts an apology. Then we cannot legitimately stop them from uniting. It’s also worth noting that Billy is far from spotless.
At one point in time, Adam was believed to be dead, and it’s safe to say that Billy is to blame. In addition, he meant to, so it wasn’t a lame effort. This allowed him and Chelsea to be similar individuals, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary for him to start developing feelings for her.

In addition, they have gone on a couple of legitimate dates and spent a lot of time with each other and their sons, Johnny and Connor. Together, they create a lovely family, and they may soon be another addition to that family. Is there going to be a baby shock?
Chelsea Lawson, portrayed by Melissa Claire Egan, is truly expecting her first child. In response to Sally’s fake pregnancy bump, she posted a photo of herself with a real one. With these signs, the writers of Y&R may incorporate a pregnant plotline into the show. It would be an intriguing prospect, for sure.
But it looks like there have been a lot of births recently. Mariah and Tessa, a couple, have a daughter whom they have named Aria. Similarly, Sally is pregnant with Adam’s child and is also expecting to give birth to a baby girl. If Chelsea were to give birth as well, that would make for a very large family. This could be another interesting perspective to consider.
It wouldn’t be odd if Chelsea were to become pregnant with Billy at the same time that Sally was expecting a kid with Adam. They want their kids to be friends and play together. As step-siblings, they can grow closer without having to deal with the hardship of sharing a biological parent. That would be an unexpected turn of events, for sure. Thus, the soap writers may have Chelsea become pregnant and then speed up her pregnancy in typical soap opera fashion. What do you think?
