Young and the Restless Is Making Their Worst Mistake Ever and Here Is Why
After all the destruction Cameron Kirsten has caused, Faith Newman is going to make an unexpected choice. As Faith has recently gone through a horrific experience, it stands to reason that she would seek comfort from her loved ones. And that would be better than having to go through all the trouble of getting well all by oneself. But Faith seems to be thinking about something else as she starts spending her time in her old, familiar ways.
Faith plans to keep herself busy and distracted by starting a new job or enrolling in a university summer course. She may find it difficult to move past the horror of her meeting with Cameron and may even imagine him lurking around every corner. And remaining at home with her family may offer her the support and stability she needs to overcome her worries and anxieties.
However, it seems like a waste of time to send Faith away now. An interesting plot about PTSD could have been developed in the program if they had focused on Faith’s issues and given Sharon and Nick a chance to voice their worries and offer advice. Instead, Faith’s departure was announced on June 21st, implying that she would be leaving earlier than expected and disappointing many viewers.
Faith will have people she can count on, but they won’t be able to replace the constant love and support of her family. She might have greatly benefited from their care and compassion. Besides that, we have grown attached to Faith and certainly miss seeing her evolve, even if just for the summer when she is absent.

Even though her connection with Moses Winters isn’t given a lot of screen time, Faith is still romantically involved with him. Many viewers may be left wondering where their plot and relationship stand after this departure.
Furthermore, it was anticipated that Faith would have been thrown into a spiral after the Cameron event, trying to deal with her emotions and return to a state of regularity. However, the show seems to be skipping over her recovery, which is a missed opportunity to go into the maximum drama and character development that may have resulted.
Miss Caster’s captivating performance in the Cameron plot has won her a large number of fans. Many have come to see her as a worthy successor to Faith. If her character had been kept on the show after the great response, it would have been satisfying to watch a younger generation make a long-lasting contribution.
So, what are your thoughts on sending Faith away so quickly after such a compelling storyline? By leaving, Faith will be cut off from her family’s immediate love and care and will miss out on an important story opportunity related to PTSD. And also, this has raised many questions about how this plot will go without her and how her relationships will develop in the future.
